Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Beloved praying will get us results that wishing could only fathom. What is not worth asking for is not worth receiving. Scripture says ask and it shall be given; our Father wants us to have our hearts desire, providing that we are asking with a pure heart and clear conscience. Seek and you shall find; if we fervently seek GOD with all of our heart we will find him waiting for us, and those of us who find him will have all they need in this world. Knock and it shall be open; the doors of grace and mercy shall be open to us the Children of GOD because His love for us is eternal.

Parents tend to supply their children with what they ask for, even when what they are asking for may not be what they need. We will go to great lengths to provide for our children things they don’t need before we give them the things they do. We do this under the umbrella of love, not realizing the harm this may have on our relationship with them in the future. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 The wisdom of GOD in this verse of scripture reveals to us that He knows what we need, and it will all be supplied through Christ Jesus. When parents are in a covenant relationship with Christ Jesus we will operate in discernment thereby providing our children the essential and eternal things that matter and less of the material things of this world.
The Word of GOD states at the end of Philippians 4:19; “according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Christ came not only to redeem mankind but to teach us what we are to know, believe and to do as children of GOD; and how we are to fellowship with one another as a family of believers and commune with GOD. If we were to exercise our faith by asking GOD, seeking GOD and knocking at the heart of GOD then the heavenly things shall be open for us to receive. GOD is faithful to His Word, He will pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive; and we ought to adopt the same mindset of supplying the heavenly things to our natural children.
