Beloved, GOD is good and a refuge in the time of trouble. Whenever the storms of life arise in the life of the true believer GOD said he is our shelter, and our provider to those who trust in Him. Let us look at the story of Abraham and Sarah, they were promised a child by GOD, and after many years of wanting and waiting GOD delivered on His promise and Sarah gave birth to Isaac. Then the test of faith came to them when GOD spoke to Abraham and instructed him offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice.
Now, because GOD knows those who trust in Him, He knew Abraham would submit to His will even though it appeared to be unfair for GOD to make such a demanding and cruel request of Abraham. “And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah: and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.” Genesis 22:2 KJV
We all know the outcome of the story how GOD had a ram in the bush to substitute for Isaac; GOD provided for Abraham in his time of trouble, and He will do the same for us His chosen. Our faith and trust in GOD will move Him to act on our behalf.
